Vent

We had intended to vist Vent from the Ramolhaus last Friday, however snow and generally conservative (wimpish as Mr EG would say) behaviour prevented the walk over the Ramoljoch. Hence today a trip down the valley and back up the next one.

Well worth it, we climbed 945m and walked 7 km in just 2 hrs 5 mins (Naismith eat your heart out). The Goulash at the top tasted even better for the rapid ascent, although I think K suffered with some altitude sickness (or maybe red wine deficiency, possibly more likely).

Back down to Vent after lunch, strange to think we have climbed almost as high as Scafell, starting from significantly higher than Ben Nevis!!! We've decided, the Lake District is clearly Lilliput to here!
