On Ilkla Moor wi a bike 'at

Apologies to foreign friends (everyone outside Yorkshire) but my title is a reference to a local ditty entitled, 'On Ilkley Moor Baht 'At' - which deals with the perils of venturing on to the moor without a hat. The said moor is across the valley in this blip. You can just about see the remains of its mantle of purple heather. I took a detour from my usual ride home tonight to capture this view because it's always the point at which the tribulations of the day melt into the past and the evening at home begins.

Our village is the one in the middle distance.
