Sound of the Otters
The trees are in their autumn beauty,
The woodland paths are dry,
Under the October twilight the water
Mirrors a still sky
WB Yeats
What a day.
Firstly the Dog Pasha and I for a walk in the ancient woods we visited a couple of weeks ago and as you can see it's very mysterious and beautiful place.
Then we found a dead seal on the beach - very disturbing.
Even more wonderous, we heard this strange birdlike chirpings, and there in front of us not more that 40 metres away was a pair of otters playing on the beach. We watched them for about five minutes before they moved off.
Wonderful.
...and it's still raining.
