Sugar refinery

For a couple of months every year, the sugar refinery in Hoogkerk (near Groningen) is operational. This is the one remaining refinery since the other one, in Groningen, closed down and is being demolished. I've blipped the demolition before; here and here.

While the one refinery was being demolished, the other was expanded and upgraded. Now it is running again and a nearly constant line of trucks is bringing loads of sugar beets to the refinery.

Both refineries are owned by the same company and lots of workers of the demolished refinery could keep their job and are now working in the one remaining refinery.
