BlipaEwan 33...

This is my monthly track of my children as they grow to see how they change as time goes by. I try to get them on the same date of each month (the one year ago thumbnail has proved a brilliant tool for this series) and in the same pose so that I can see how they change over time.

Another month, another trip to casualty. We were down the park last week and I was helping Bethany across a balance bar when Ewan decided to join in before I was ready. He got up at the start of the bar and slightly louped for my arm, caught it, swung a bit and fell to the ground, catching the back of his head on an edge on the way down. Result, a small cut on the back of his head, a fair bit of blood and a trip to casualty. Luckily it was only a cut and nothing more sinister. Wee clean up and a touch of glue and we were done.

'Teamwork!' that's been Ewan's wee turn of phrase this month. After he does something he'll utter it out and request high 5s. Not sure where he picked it up from but it sounds rather kids TVish.

It was probably last month the we took Ewan for his first cinema trip to see Toy Story 3. He's all about the Toy Story just now and he loved it. Of the two, we thought he'd be the more fidgety but he just sat transfixed all the way through.
