Who says Cheney is a dump?

This beautiful area is a short drive from where The Goose and will call home for the next year, maybe more.

We are finally settling into our home and we've enjoyed having The Goose'smom stay with us for the week.

Today, we visited Turnbull National Refuge, which was established in the 1930s by president Franklin D. Roosevelt. Theres nearly a 6 mile driving loop with plenty of hiking trails along the way. Here, we stopped for a short while and walked around, amazed by all the summer beauty.
