Autumnal Common Darter

It was a beautiful start to the day and luckily I found this Common Darter sunning itself on a blackberry bush. The Common Darter can be active well into October so I'm hoping for a few more good days so I can continue to enjoy this fantastic creature. There was also a Migrant Hawker on the wing this morning and plenty of bees going about their business.

Just had 10 minutes before work, so was pretty lucky to get this.
