Started the 6 cylinder engine with not a stutter today - have a large blow lamp to use as she is too old to have glow plugs. She sounded wonderful and I ran the boat against the ropes to give her a workout. Have just been offered another mooring further west down the harbour which will let me have some sun in the winter - am bereft about leaving local friends but it isn't far for them or me to visit but just not so convenient. Raise the glass again and look forward I say.
