High Five

Tough day today. I've been teaching a course all day in Sharjah (I have great respect for anyone who does this for a living - don't think I could do it). Then, later this evening, I ran in the Dubai Road Runners 5k race at the Dubai Autodrome under floodlights.

5k doesn't sound much but at 36 degrees at over 60% humidity, I can promise you that it is tough. After I finished I grabbed my camera to try and get a picture of some of the stragglers. This is the effect of blipfoto - normally I would just collapse in a heap but I had to get my blip.

This is a lousy photo but I liked how this guy was thrilled to finish and ran over to the side to get a high five from his friend.
