As today is Battle of Britain day and I was passing Castle Bromwich - purely by coincidence as it happens - I suppose I can get away with this slightly made cheesy in photoshop image.
There was a really good drama documentary on the beeb. I noticed they used a fair bit of footage from the 1969 film. Nothing wrong with that - it was my favorite film as a ten year old. And the geek in me noticed that the Spit the main character flew kept changing between MkII and MkIX.
If I ever win the lottery I'm going to get a ride in that 2 seater James May went up in.
I'd better start doing the lottery.
