Another new place...

47 weeks

We did tea and toast this morning, it was nice to catch up with some of the mums who've been off during the summer with bigger children. katie had a really good toddle round, she was happy to go off with the bigger kids today, it's nice seeing her confidence growing.

After a sleep we went to meet a friend and her 7 week old baby boy. We'd had a new place recommended - a garden and aquatic centre with free soft play - so thought it'd be somewhere Katie-proof to go. And it was lovely, nicely designed soft play. Only some bright spark had also put the section of ornaments/glasswear etc right next to the cafe and soft play. Guess which Katie was most interested in! She did love the play area though, and was very taken by the fish in the aquatic centre, waving madly at them.

I'd like to add that Katie and I do have lots of lovely Mummy and Katie at home time! We tend to go out most days, because it's just her and I. If we didn't get out, I'd be the only person she sees, she loves interacting with people. I try to get a nice balance, so we may spend a lot of a day at home but still have a couple of hours out in the afternoon somewhere interesting!
