A fellow blipper's entry for the 29th of this month really sent my mind rolling.

In her caption, she said, "marriage suits me." The statement, combined with the increasing reality of marriage in the next couple of years, made me wonder if marriage will suit me. But more than that, what kind of person do you have to be for marriage to suit you? And what is it about marriage that will suit me, if it does?

How am I to know, really, until I am wed? So I can't say for sure whether it will or not, but I tend to err on the side of YES. YES, it will.

Don't get me wrong, though I am young, I am well aware that marriage isn't easy, and it's certainly not always wonderful.

But one of my brother's (Spatial)
favorite lines in a song goes something like, "at worst, between us, it's good." Harry Connick, Jr., I believe.

I think that's what will make marriage suitable for me.

Security. Comfortably sunken into the familiar. Safe.
