Charlotte's web
Charlotte has obviously woven a web around her owner. She was born two weeks ago, one of a litter of 10. The sow pretty much ignored them, leaving them to their own devices. Her brother died a few days ago. She's still here.
She's currently scoffing down cow colostrum and seems to be doing well.
Then again, I thought that was the case for the wee lamb I photographed a couple of weeks ago. And I was wrong.
I spent a happy few moments scratching her behind the ears and letting her nibble my fingers.
I hope she makes it.
I love working at a school attached to a farm.
It's just hard when nature does it's cruel thing.
I'm just a big softie.
Not the best photo I've ever taken (it's not easy to photograph a wriggly piggy!) but the good news is that if she does survive, she will be a pet. Maybe that's why she's smiling?
Listening to this at the moment.
