Homecoming

I recently began working as a volunteer, student photographer for the University Press, the campus newspaper where I attend school. This was Lamar's first home football game in 21 years, and I had the privilege of being on the sidelines taking photos.

If you refer back to my blip on 24 February 2010, you'll see that I was none too excited about the return of this sport to my campus. I'm still not thrilled about it, but it was exciting to be right there amidst the action.

This is a photo, shot from the opposite end zone (approx 80 yards away), of a Lamar player tackling a Weber International player. We ended up winning the game with a score of 21-14. The Cardinals were proud!
