Applying Psychology
It's been a good 6 years since I last studied any psychology and even then it was health based psychology rather than broad spectrum psychology. Unfortunately however, my OU courses have left me so that once all completed I will still be 10 points short at level 2. Thankfully I found this 15 point level 2 short course. Whilst I won't be studying it until next autumn I decided to buy the course book to read in the coming year and refresh my memory. In the grand scheme of how much my degree is costing me, an extra £25 is nothing.
In other news today:
We got the quote through from the Stone Mason that we liked and it seems acceptable so we're going to go with them. Now it's just a case of waiting to hear when the work will be done, finding out how long the scaffolding will be up and informing the neighbours as it will cover their windows too and the garden of the bottom flat.
I also appear to have solved the travel currency problem that I was having yesterday. In my research I found that 0% commission holiday cash is a big con. Yeah they don't charge you commission, instead they alter their excahgne rate to be between 6.5 - 8% below the interbank base rate. We've found ourselves an option that will only be 1.8% below so actually works out better than the cash we happily would have taken to any other country.
