Large Thorn

... is the name of this moth which I caught on Sunday night. It's not just any moth - this is a Nationally Scarce moth. Because it was very dull on Monday morning, I put it in the fridge until there was better light for photography. But it hasn't materialised, so I had to make do on the kitchen worksurface with the help of an LED headtorch. Not really ideal, but you can see the funky antennae.
