"All by myyyyy-seeeeeeelf" <-- sing!

With Grace at preschool this morning, Hubby and I went out with Ophelia, just her on her own, for the first time since she was born. It's only taken 9 1/2 months to do so!

We did some errands in Hexham, had a mooch around and then had tea and snacks at the Queen's Hall before heading into the library which is in the same building.

Sounds awful to say it, but it was so much easier without a toddler in tow. I forgot how easy little babies are in comparison to when they're older. First time around with a baby seems to tough, until you see what happens when they grow up, haha! (It's ok Gracie, you're brilliant really!).

There was a bit of excitement in the cafe/lobby of the Queen's Hall when a bat decided to make an appearance and fly around for several minutes. Tried to snap a photo, but it was far too quick for me, so instead, here is Ophelia perusing the book collection in the library!
