Big Pylon

This is just outside our friend Toms house. He lives at the very top of Hamilton and his view is incredible.

He is however just over the hill from the power grid for the area and as a result has this just over the road and the wires right across his view. I know they are a blight on the scenery but they are fantastic structures and they always make me think of the channel four advert with the pylons moving in the distances to momentarily make the 4 logo and then parting again... genius!

I got soaked up to my ankles through long grass for this shot... hardship... not really!
