Freecycle Grass

I like the fact that there is a little story behind most of the things in our house and garden...I think that's what happens when you're too broke to just go out and buy what you want!

This grass was just two strands last summer, and was gained from Freecycle. I followed the careful directions to Pomma44's house with increasing excitement - a hidden Georgian mansion amongst two new build estates - a long sweeping drive, acres of garden and orchard and hundreds of interesting plant species. After helping to fill my car with bags and buckets the lady was called away into the house by her stunning daughter, who announced "It's time for yoga mummy". As I turned the car around behind the house I couldn't help but glimpse a huge room full of surrealist art, old easels and unfinished masterpieces. Another house full of stories...
