025/365 - Dogwood Blooms...Soon

I saw these berries on our dogwood tree on Saturday afternoon, but I didn't get a chance to take a photo of them because the light wasn't right. I still wasn't able to capture them quite the way I wanted too, but I plan to keep trying. What I really want is to get almost a soft focus look in the photo. Any tips? (sidenote: I'm trying not to use post-processing) Thanks.
