Staying Sharp

Do you remember as kids when you sharpened a pencil by that one on a teacher's desk?
Usually green that was made of metal and it gripped the wood and sharpened your pencil's best?
How you'd spend afew moments turning a handle that turned giving you a point with a beautiful edge.
That wrote words in notebooks cursive and neat about carrot tops in saucers and some cress on paper that grew on a window ledge...
