Smashing Pumpkins...

How many times have you seen that headline over the last couple of days? I wonder if all these journalists using it actually know who The Smashing Pumpkins actually are.

This headline was on the front of the Metro today accompanied, for me, a rather freakish coincidence.

For those commuters in Scotland that read the Metro today, my carving skills here may look vaguely familiar. I plucked a pumpkin picture off the internet to copy the design a couple of days ago. Did my carving last night and then this morning, lo' and behold, front page of the Metro, there's the exact same picture. If you saw it, I copied the one with the smaller pumpkin in it's mouth.

Maybe the halloween spirits are at work.
