We could be here all day.

I just dropped off some groceries to my friend MCB. She's the latest cyclist I know to get her tires chomped by the streetcar tracks and thrown for a sprawl*. She told me years of yoga and being in good shape really helped her; like she kind of saw it all in slo-mo and was able to avoid hitting her head. She smashed her elbow though. Enough to require surgery and some screws and nasty pointy things all in there, which, I saw the x-ray, which far out and no thanks.


*That makes three of my friends since the spring. One needed extensive dental work, another is still home nursing a concussion.
