City of Truro

Visited Llangollen steam railway gala today and spent all day riding up and down and taking pictures. Not that I am steam train anorak. It was just a good day out. I am old enough to remember the last days of steam I was about 3 or 4 and my Grandad used to take me to watch them on the West coast Main Line at Preston. I am full of admiration for the men (and women) who keep these working museum pieces going. City of Truro was unoffically the first steam loco to do 100mph.
