Homemade Road Sign

I spent the day in Coniston but despite spending 7 hours wandering around, I couldn't capture the lake - not as I wanted to capture it. Although people were sailing and canoeing on the lake and there was quite a lot going on, for some reason, it didn't seem very special today. Trying to find some inspiration, I went back into town and sat by Donald Campbell's grave for quite some time, but that didn't do much either. I envy Donald Campbell. Not because he is dead, but because he did what he wanted to do with his life.

Later, I came across a bunch of young boys and girls who had set out some of their toys on a bench under a tree. I watched them for a while. Eventually one of the young boys (approx. 8- 10 years) started on a real marketing pitch and addressed the crowds.

"PlayStations for sale. We've got two - £5 each."
