Autumn

After a long day yesterday we decided to take things easier today. We took a leisurely stroll up to the Grappenhall Heys Walled Garden.. It is a lovely spot and we enjoyed a cup of tea and some lovely home made cakes. As we walked round I noticed this old lady gently snoozing in the warm autumn sun. I walked round to the other side of the pond to try and take a photograph. However I could only just manage to see her through the gunnera.

Next Sunday you can go along to Grappenhall and pick your own apples from the kitchen garden.
