Watching and alert

Watching and alert, though there for me, is a little less today. But it's not these sheep, not after Thursday's effort when we tailed and did the business on the little male lambs. If they weren't wary before, they are now!

I know there still a distance to go but I'm grateful today to have consistently the best I have since pre-quake. Last evening was difficult as I found myself scared about the possibility of a large aftershock still to come.

But in daylight and with the sun out, things seem better. When I went around home I had a real sense that it is my home and I'll know again that it's home, sanctuary and secure.

I'm pretty tired. I'll try to call Mum then we're out for dinner to mutual friends, hopefully followed by a good nights sleep.
