In other news, today was my first day assisting the celeb photographer. He had two shoots - one a fashion spread for a magazine with a character from the show "Heroes," and another for the cover of Cigar Aficionado with the lead actor from the show "Bones" - sadly I don't watch either.

However, learning about studio lighting is quite a trip - the process of bending and manipulating light is intricate. The day went by in a hurry, as we were constantly running around, carrying heavy equipment, trying to keep pace with the models getting hair, makeup and wardrobe done - all is a big production, and all needs to be perfect because when the photographer comes out, all he does is say "perfeeeeccct" and press the shutter 50-60 times.

Have some much larger shoots in the upcoming weeks...should be interesting
