abandoned..

I guess that's how a lot of people are feeling 7 days out from the big earthquake here in Canterbury.
This egg is the last one left in the swan nest at work... there were 4 eggs in it when I took a photo of the protective parent here. Now all that's left is a nest with one egg in it.
