Tiger
It?s open doors day today and the kids love getting to look around the buildings of Aberdeen that are not normally open to the public. One of their favourite places is the university's natural history building.
This tiger was confiscated by customs at Aberdeen Airport in 1996 when someone tried to take it into the country. It's really sad that this beautiful animal has been killed for someone to have as an ornament in their house.
I have no idea how they thought they could go through security with a large stuffed tiger when you can't even get through the airport with a bottle of water or extra piece of hand luggage and I can just imagine the custom officers reaction when he came face to face with this gigantic creature.
