Guard Slug

We don't have a dog, just a very miaow-ee cat, but our house was being defended today by a very handsome orange guard slug.

After I'd managed to avoid running him over with my work bag on wheels I just had to rush back out of the house to take a blip of him. I'm sure the neighbours wondered why I was taking photos of my doorstep in my work clothes though.

The boys came out to have a good look and to try and feed him leaves to help him on his journey across the path. He took the easiest option and took refuge under them from the watching hoards.
