Snippets of Old City - In random

A very humid morning to start the day.
We were to meet our friend LSP today, at an old part of the city. To reach there, we decided to take the metro, which for me was exciting, since it had been a long time, I traveled on it. In no time, we reached Red Fort, and met him there. The humidity had already taken a toll over him. No wonder he had come from a much cooler place and would be heading towards a more chilling place tonight. Nevertheless, we continued to move in our strides. And later headed for lunch to a place which drove other two companions of LSP away.. It was a very small joint where parathas were being royally fried in ghee with all smoke and heat, right in front of us. This atmosphere could only further give a blow to our already suffering fellow travelers.. Now when I think of this, I just can't stop laughing :).
After lunch, we lazed around the streets, to see the weather changing to pouring rain.. Unusually though, getting wet in the rain was a relief, as if some heavy load had been lifted off the shoulders.
That was the moment of good rain and a good bye to LSP, with many plans in hand ahead.
