Basketball meets twelve year old boy hand....the hand loses!

Three weeks on, after strapping, slings, and Xrays we spent the whole day at Ninewells today with the threat of wiring or pinning or plating under a general anaesthetic.

In the end it was decided that that the break was doing its best to heal and manipulation might suffice..fingers were bashed, clamped and pulled.

It's not all clever stuff this doctor malarkey!! :D

So we have another appointment to attend and more strapping to do, I am quite good at it by now, it's amazing how grubby a small boy can make white bandages.

And for some reason he is thrilled with the surgeon's "grafitti" on his hand!
