Our Future House

I've mentioned recently that we plan to move in the spring to a rebuilt house, which we'll rent from our current downstairs condo-mate. He's just shown us the revised plans for the house, and I've blipped the architect's overall view (not a wonderful blip, I know).

The house will be build on the foundation of a run-down house to be torn down (I'll blip that house in the next day or so). It's on a lot adjoining our current condominium which our condo-mate has acquired (along with the rest of the condominium, for his expanded family--the third child arrived a few weeks ago).

The house is relatively modest, but it should suit my wife and me very well. The ground floor is mostly open including kitchen, dining area and living room, as well as a bedroom/ study; the second floor has three bedrooms. Importantly, we'll be able to stay in the neighborhood, which we love. In the meantime, as mentioned, we'll move to a temporary rental.
