Italian meanderings

Early morning Blip

I thought I'd get it out of my system quickly today. I took this pretty much as I got out of bed. It's the silhouette of the top of Monte Fasce, a mountain that rises up above Genova.

They haven't failed to capitalise on the fact that it's the highest point locally, so when you walk around the top of it you're constantly surrounded by the buzz of electricity coming from the antennas.

I feel very lucky to be able to see it from my flat. Many prefer to face out the other way, over the sea, but personally I like to have a view with a bit of shape to it.
