Holyrood

I was out for a walk today and passed the parliament as I often do. As I walked past the building the sun bouncing off this part of the exterior and really highlighted the interesting shapes and contrasting colours. I though it would make a nice sunny blip for today after my last two at night which are pretty dark.

I know it gets a lot of negative comments but I really love the parliament building both inside and out and think it's particularly beautiful when the sun catches all it's interesting wee features. The shapes, colours and shadows can even seem surreal when taken in abstraction.
