Where does the word Toadstool originate from?

This toadstool was standing above the already long grass all on its own. Had a surprisingly busy night at the Inn yesterday.

Revelation for Wed- Streaky is a boy and Chops is a girl! How on earth did I get them mixed up. Worked it out when I watched them pee of all things and thought to myself bulls pee from the middle and cows from the back. Google provided the answer. I'm and idiot.

Forgot to say the boy had been castrated so not the obvious way to distinguish between sex.
