Fall Crocus
These are planted throughout my woods garden and are always a welcome sight in the fall. Some of them are hard to see as they've become obscured by weeds lush plantings.
The plants send up large leaves in the spring and if you don't keep your wits about you, you might move them around to new locations while wondering what they are and why they don't bloom (yes, I did that twice early on).
My Unstaged voting reward :)
