What are we without our phones and cigarettes?

I would like to count the number of people that I see smoking, but I don't think I can. I would lose count within a minute. Besides what does the number say when you don't know how many people I've encountered?

Besides, I would like to count the number of phone-users as well. Impossible. I don't think I can even count the number of smoking callers on two hands in the final 8 blocks of my walk to my Spanish class.


Sidenote, I'm not a smoker, but I do use my phone in the streets.
