Louvre Museum, Paris

This modern glass pyramid (ok this isn't the whole pyramid just a small section) in the central courtyard of the museum is the current entrance it was constructed in the 1980's and finished around 1993 (I think!!), I like this museum as it houses a massive Egyptian antiquities collection amoungst many other great artifacts and it has the very overrated Mona Lisa - which of course my boyfriend was determined to see and when he saw her in all her glory he said "is that it" he was shocked that the painting was so small and that there were so many people jostling to take photos.
