Hachnasat Sefer Tora

Today two restored Torah scrolls were brought into the synagogue community of Magdeburg.
This is a once-in-a-generation event that happened last time in 1947 and is called Hachnasat Sefer Tora.

Therefore many Jews and Non-Jews gathered to celebrate this event.
17 Rabbis from all over Germany came to visit - the largest gathering of Rabbis in Magdeburg since the Middle Ages.

This event is part of the 'Week of Jewish Culture and History' in Magdeburg.
