Mist over Sandwick

After the excitement of yesterday, it has been quite a tame day today! Aida is safely up on the sand, out of harms way, and the gales have abated a bit. Hopefully over the next few days we can arrange for her to be lifted onto her trailer and brought back home. We were going to take her out the water for the winter in the next few weeks anyway, but the gales have overtaken our plans. The sea is a lot less wild nowand the wind has dropped so that you can actually stand up straight without having to lean into it!

As the wind dropped, the mist came in and with it a much calmer air. Getting quite an autumnal feel to the weather and I feel ready for it. The end of the long hot days of summer! Ha!
