Glass tornado

The Governor received this Waterford Crystal bowl from her workmates as a retiement present. Viewed in this way I thought it looked like a frozen tornado or whirlpool. Not sure I really did it justice despite trying several different exposures and effects - not captured the blue/green light in the higlights.
Used a pretty miserable day to clear the workbench and potter a bit on Saffwy - whenever I go in the garage I always seem to end up pondering improvements and goodies for the boat. This afternoon went to see Mum - in great form.
Setting the alarm tomorrow, going to pretend we are at work.......
