White Ibis
Summer is back in Central Florida; after having had some days in the high 80s, we are now back in the mid 90s f. A White Ibis, this time shot with a lesser lens, but he isn't zooming about in the air which makes it easier. Inoffensive and really quite friendly, I am inclined to ignore these fellows, but today is his turn for blip exposure. For all those who suggested yesterday that I should look for a used lens, (or claim squatter's rights) the one I had yesterday was a AF-S NIKKOR300mm f/2.8G ED VR II; the newest model of Nikon's 300mm prime lenses and costs a cool $5,899.97, so even a used one, if they were available would be well out of my league! However, there are other good lenses which I shall aim for; today the alternator went on my car, so any spare cash will be heading to the car fixer.
Changed my noisy cormorant for this quieter fellow!
