Torrential rain last night but gorgeous warm blustery day today. Infants very cranky today, by their own admissions! No, we did not want to colour in Humpty Dumpty - fair enough! I think short sharp bursts of different activities is the way forward! And plenty of sticking!

Came home and we went straight down to the beach. This one has big round pebbles with quartz running through them, and is surrounded by gorse and heather - lovely and so bracing. Someone had been here before us and made a series of cairns - I thought them very attractive and liked the way they meld into the landscape. Very Andy Goldsworthy.
