Storage Pods Downloading

More excitement this morning, as our two pods (containers) for storage over the next 6-8 months were delivered.

What I find really cool is that the one driver delivering them was able to use his remote control device (as he is doing in the blip) to maneuver not only the flatbed holding the pods, but the cab--turning it and backing up. For the red pod being deposited here, the whole process took about 30 minutes at most, including backing down our long driveway.

The red pod will be used by the condo-mates who are buying us out, while we will use the light-colored pod; it was deposited afterward behind the fence on the left, closer to the house on the next street which will be rebuilt by next spring and which we will rent.

The brick building behind the pods is Northampton's former jail next door, which was converted into a large condominium some time ago.
