A for annoying or A for amusing

This creature showed up on my bathroom skylight this morning. He kept tapping for about 10 minutes. I closed the window, he kept tapping. I threw a ball at the window, he left. He went to the next bathroom and started tapping on that skylight. 10 minutes later he gave up. I hope he doesn't find the 3rd skylight.
I wonder what he wanted. Was he trying to alert me of a dire situation on the rooftop? Was he just trying to annoy me? Did he see his own reflection and was trying to get a romance going with himself? Was he baking and needed a cup of sugar? Wait a second.....that's nonsense. Seagulls don't bake! Or do they?
