I was standing at the far end of the train when I saw her in that window and I ran toward her, seeing in my mind this image of pureness in the light, this perfect moment of childhood, her curiosity, her precious life, looking into the future, not knowing what's ahead, like a journey in a train, new landscapes on the way, what will the next turn bring with it. I ran as fast as I could. I lifted my camera, took one shot, that was that. And life went on as the train did, but I captured that moment, as well as in my heart, reminding me that I was once a little girl, trusting the world, looking with amazement to what's out there.
