Been listening to 10 Ragas to a Disco Beat by electroniica pioneer Charanjit Singh, a reissue from 1982. Hard to believe acid house music in 1982, but there you go.

Can't find much else about him except that he worked in Bollywood and appears on the excellent Bollywood Steel Guitar. Serendipity indeed.
