The meadow
Its been a bit crazy, everything starts in earnest: school, brownies, dance, packed lunches and reading books, the parent-roundabout machine rouses yet again with avengence this week. So on the way back from one of the dropping-offs I sneaked off to the park with just the canon and ipod for company.
I found this secluded spot and just stood at this gate listening to tunes and snapping away, taking in the late summer fragrances as the flowers on the bushes are starting to fade. Soon enough it will be cold, so this one is just a moment capturing the last of the summer. Since I got home it started to rain again which alongside the first auburn fallen leaves and conkers under the horse chestnut signals autumn is well on its way.
